Review on De'Longhi EC685M Dedica Deluxe Espresso Machine with Automatic Features, Metallic by Aneta Laskowska ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

Great d cor for the cooking area. Indeed, in white. Yet, the limited surface area of support makes the narrow dimensions an annoyance. Fixing the holder containing the filter requires holding the entire gadget, which wants to tip over. At the same time, your finger is always hovering over the coffee button. You'll grow used to it, though. One other major drawback is that it has no upsides. The coffee is not as bitter after using this coffee maker. Whereas the previous coffee maker produced coffee with a pronounced sourness, this one produces coffee with a discernible bitterness. Because of this, I had to experiment with different coffee blends and perfect my brewing method from scratch. Much emphasis is placed on the drawbacks. Now, here are some advantages. Drink size, water hardness, and temperature may all be set at the touch of a button. The machine will automatically alert you to decalcify it after 200 coffees. My default is not to modify this, but you may. The gadget comes with a semi-automatic program to help you descale it more frequently, which is recommended. There are two buttons, and you may program each one to release a different quantity of water. For latte art on one and black coffee on another, for instance. The drink is already pretty fiery, but you can make it much hotter if you like. To put it simply, I didn't, and I'm perfectly OK. Put a cup under the filter that has a height of up to 8 centimeters. After being detached, the stand can hold a cup with a height of up to 12 millimeters. Although the stand with a catchall was handy, I still needed new cups. First reactions are favorable, although I think I'd bring a carob coffee maker with a bigger footprint the next time I go.

Pros
  • Conveniently close to the action, but not too loud, and aesthetically pleasing.
Cons
  • Thin and with a high center of gravity, this weapon requires skillful manipulation.
