Review on ๐ŸŒฟ Urban Green Reusable Bamboo Towels: Large Size 2 Rolls, 60 Sheets - Heavy Duty Eco-Friendly Paper Towel Alternative by Richard Singleton

Good product but not for me

I really wanted these. I mostly only use reusable (except TP) and wanted to try reusable paper towels. Fresh on the roll they look perfect and very neat. They are very absorbent (definitely much more absorbent than regular paper towels) and very soft. When we first started using them I thought they were fantastic. But then they started to annoy me. After washing, they are quite deformed and also collect a lot of lint. To be honest, I haven't washed them myself or given them much attention, so take that with a grain of salt, but I don't wash anything I own according to specific instructions, so I didn't really feel like doing it with paper towels either. Another thing that is obvious is that they are not coming back to roll. Pulling a paper towel from a crumpled stack in your desk drawer isn't the same as pulling it from a roll. The last thing I didn't really care about was how "fuzzy" they were. It feels like you're using a piece of flimsy fleece, so using it for anything food-related (like sandwiches are usually made out of paper towels, but the fluffiness sticks to the bread) is a bit odd. It also didn't work that well for cleaning for me because of all the fluff it left behind. Overall I think it's a good product and will probably perform better with proper care, but if you're lazy like me this might not be for you.
