He doesn't care about the tower or toys but the scratching post is good. He comes to him several times a day, looks at me, then scratches the pillow and then leaves. it's fun - like "look mom, I'll do this for you". Goodbye'. he is something. but as long as it scratches that and not the armrests of the couch, I'm fine. It was very easy to assemble, you really just attach the tower. However there is no instruction page or finished photo so I had to go back and look at this page to remind myself because I tried to assemble it upside down at first - I already said I'm not always on it - but quick reminder photo , and in 45 seconds we were up and running. Note that there is no plate at the bottom - so if you put catnip in cardboard it will come through - that's what vacuums are for. But that's ok - that's the way it is with most people. overall - we agree - it looks a lot better than many notepads, almost classy.
