Great for beginners
I started flamenco about 2 months ago. Bought these running shoes. They're very handy and definitely a good place to start if you don't want to get active right away. However, the toe of the shoe is neither rounded nor solid, making it difficult for the feet to work the punts to get the right sound. If you're really determined to practice flamenco long-term, invest in real flamenco shoes instead.
