It worked perfectly for my dog. He reacted violently and was afraid of a shock. I tried vibrating and it was better but still more scary than fixable. The sound works fantastic for my dog. (All dogs are different. But I would try sound and then vibration before using a shock collar. It doesn't have a shock. But the most important thing is customer service. They're hard to find. But when you do, they're the best. lost my charger and they offered to send me one free after 2 years.They also offered to just sell another whole device with a charger that runs two collars for $25.I have 2 dogs so I got myself Decided on this one.Love the product and service.
