Mouse pad with wrist rest is good. It has a large interface that works well with heavy mouse users like me. Both the mouse pad and armrest feel well constructed rather than flimsy. The reason I only give three stars is because the armrest is too short. I bought this set to replace a Staples brand armrest that fell apart after about a year, but this armrest is over two inches shorter than the Staples version and that's quite a difference. I'm a petite person, 5ft 3in and 130lbs with little arm span and this isn't working for me. I can't even imagine a taller person trying to use it comfortably.
