Review on Little Chief 250 Watt Replacement Wire Assembly Element for Smokehouse Product by Lancy Rakesh

I took the time to measure the resistance on the old element (which by the way didn't need to be replaced, oops) and the new element. The new element has a resistance of 62 ohms and the old element has a resistance of 57.2 ohms. My calculations show that the new item I received is only 232w while the old one is 251w. However, the new element fits perfectly. I'm just concerned about how long it takes for the chips to start smoking when I use a new one. Next time there's one I'm going straight to the Smokehouse.
