Flat backs cannot be used when the WAMK button is pressed.

The backs were completely flat so I couldn't use them for my abs (there was no way to attach them to the top), the mylar sheets that came with were a little big so I had to cut them out to fit in fit my abs (that was before I realized they wouldn't work). Some of those plastic backs were broken, but I expected that. Good price for the amount you get, I just couldn't use them. I don't know about other presses, but I must have something to attach to. Therefore, these buttons do not work when the WAMK button is pressed.
