Review on Dell S2409W Widescreen Discontinued Manufacturer: High Resolution Wide Screen Display by Jesse Quigley

At first I was very happy with the monitor. It has a fast response time, lots of inputs, and a pretty good price. However, when you connect an HDMI cable to a monitor, you must run an audio cable from the monitor's audio port. Accessing this audio port is very difficult as it is hidden deep between where the monitor connects to the stand. Also, there are sometimes some very annoying audio pops when using HDMI with this monitor. Another issue is that this monitor has an absolutely horrible vertical viewing angle. Colors are completely inaccurate when viewing the monitor from any angle other than straight ahead. I recently purchased this monitor from a local retailer. When I called Dell support they asked me to give them a unique numeric code of length n which they said would be printed on the receipt I received from the store. There was no such code at all on the small receipt. They told me that without this code they could not help me. Attention buyers!
