Review on πŸ“Ί TCL 50-inch 4K UHD HDR Android Smart TV - 4-Series, 2021 Model by Justin Early

Revainrating 5 out of 5

yes, very nice

So far this TV is great. It has many features that I like. But I still know this TV. The picture is fantastic. The sound is good. I just wish my new TCL had picture-in-picture functionality like my old Panasonic Vista replacing this TCL. Compared to my old TV which was smaller, the TCL is MUCH lighter. A lot of. I haven't used many apps yet. I mainly watch terrestrial TV, HDMI plugin and YouTube. Seems to have many apps installed. About 6 months ago I bought my first Smart TV for my bedroom. It has a certain number of uses. It can't download add-ons, it's a more popular brand and smaller than my new 50" TCL, and the bedroom TV was more expensive. TCL has Google Play which allows me to choose what I want to download onto my new TV. A feature I love and to be honest I wish my Dumb Smart TV bedroom had one too. The TCL control is small and simple. It's about the size of a firestick and has 12 buttons in total. One button is a four-position multi-directional pad, with the center being fine. Another button is used to control the volume. There's also a long button at the bottom that instantly connects you to Netflix (which I don't have an account with) on the side of the button and YouTube on the other side of the button. This TV has a built-in Chromecast. With my old TV, switching from HDMI to WiFi can be quite difficult. First you had to press a button to make sure the correct channel was selected, then you had to press another button 6 times to switch from channel 3 to HDMI or vice versa. With this control, all I have to do is click a gray button, then click the multidirectional bar and click the center of that button, which is the OK button, and you're toggled. Also, this TV has a much better TV list than my other smart TV. The other TV just tells you what's on the channel you're tuned to. With a very short description and nothing more. With TLC, this can be done in a number of ways. I can click OK. You press this button and the screen appears. And shows the station and what's coming. It also shows three channels before what you're watching and three channels after what you're watching. Second, there is a button you can press to open another screen. You scroll, click About and it shows you more details about what's on TV. It displays the channel name and number. Tells you the name of the program and band you are roughly in on the show you are watching. It also shows how many channels you have programmed and a description. It tells me what's on TV a few hours in advance and I can also use it to see what's on other channels when I'm not watching that channel. Yes, I say that I like this TV. It would be even better with the pic-n-pic function, but it's there and so far I'm happy.
