I purchased two of these to use for primitive camping, to replace our air mattress. I got tired of the bulkiness of air mattresses and always dealing with re-inflation due to air leaks. Having several kids using air mattresses also, inevitably they end up with leaks and need replaced. I really love these cots and I'm so glad I decided to switch.My fiance and I set them up next to each other, which is basically like sharing a bed because they fit so closely together- yet we have our own space which is much nicer than rolling into the center of an air mattress when it leaks air. With a decent sleeping bag, it's really comfortable to sleep on.I also love being off the ground, which adds extra storage space also. It has a side pocket which is where I stored my gun (we always carry when camping in the backcountry), which was nice because it was safely tucked away but within close reach if I needed it.I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for a decent cot!
