Review on Shapermint by Jordan Doyle

Quality Assurance and Client Happiness Must Be Top Priorities for Shapermint.

My job as a product manager made me curious in Shapermint's online store. However, after dealing with their customer support department on multiple occasions, I have some major reservations. To begin, there appears to be an issue with quality assurance. Some of the things I bought were of good quality, but others were badly manufactured and quickly became unwearable. If a garment business wants to keep its clients happy, it must provide uniformly high quality. Furthermore, the quality of service provided to customers was below average. I found their employees to be unhelpful and unresponsive when I reached out to them to discuss some of my concerns. They didn't seem concerned about my problems or willing to help find answers, thus I felt ignored and unappreciated as a customer. The shipping and return procedure was another source of frustration for me. My orders arrived more later than expected, and the return procedure was difficult and unintuitive. Since this was the case, everything took longer and was more difficult than necessary. In sum, Shapermint could be useful, but there are major problems that must be fixed first. Customer satisfaction can be greatly increased and loyalty maintained by putting effort into quality assurance, strengthening customer service, and expediting shipping and returns. As a product manager, I'm hoping these concerns will be addressed and the product will eventually be better.
