Desulfurization mode rescued my spare battery

I had a spare car battery sitting too long in the garage, and this unit (the 5A/2A) saved it.
It took several long desulf cycles, but 6 months later when I throw the charger on it passes quickly out of desulf mode and into top up charging.The automatic charging is a big step up over the old days - I can leave this plugged in over night.Quick tip: when you plug it in you have a few seconds to use the mode button if you wanted to force a particular mode. I use that to select 2A for smaller batteries or slow charging.

It worked as advertised. No issues with this product.

Cons

Takes up a lot of space because of its bulky size
