Bought for someone who recently had knee surgery. Tried all the usual stuff like packets of frozen peas (seriously - it's often recommended) but this one was the best. Because it is made of small ice packs, it is flexible and comfortable to wear. It was bought for walking but proved to be the best solution even when just lying down with an ice pack on your knee. Because it's already slightly filled, you don't need an extra towel. And it comes with a heavy duty pouch so you can just slip the foil back into your bag when it's time to toss it back in the freezer. It cost a little more than I expected, but it's worth the money.
