I'm so glad this nut replacement works great instead of having to buy a new washer. As a result, the water could no longer run out. Wonderful! The photos show my old original nut and gasket. Space when used with Supco TB123A wrench I had no trouble using this DIY method to fix a known problem with both this tool and the to loosen the nut when used to install or remove the nut.

Got this nut and it's a perfect replacement. One note, and I had to dig up this info, use LOCTITE RED glue when installing this nut. As I understand it, even after tightening the nut three times with a hammer, it won't hold without glue. seems to be a common problem that can easily be solved with LOCTITE RED glue.

I purchased this hub nut as a spare when replacing the mode selector assembly on my 7 year old GE Profile washing machine. This part was an original GE part in the original GE packaging.
