Works great on my ge ge gtwp1000m2ww.

I'm so glad this nut replacement works great instead of having to buy a new washer. As a result, the water could no longer run out. Wonderful! The photos show my old original nut and gasket. Bought another part for this washing machine. It took me 3 hours to pierce the old one and then disassemble it. It's been a journey, but the end was the joy of returning to normal.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • No performance

This item worked fine, but you need to have "small .

Space when used with Supco TB123A wrench I had no trouble using this DIY method to fix a known problem with both this tool and the to loosen the nut when used to install or remove the nut.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Perfect replacement for my washing machine GE

Got this nut and it's a perfect replacement. One note, and I had to dig up this info, use LOCTITE RED glue when installing this nut. As I understand it, even after tightening the nut three times with a hammer, it won't hold without glue. seems to be a common problem that can easily be solved with LOCTITE RED glue.

  • Certified
Cons

Also take the key.

This part was worth buying as it helped me avoid buying a brand new washing machine. It arrived on time and was relatively easy to assemble. It has been in use for several months and has proven itself without any problems. I would advise you to make a wrench to remove and install them. I tried unsuccessfully to remove the old one with the tools I had. I finally gave in and bought a wrench and 2 minutes after it arrived I took the old nut off and put the new one on.

General Electric WH2X1193 Hub Nut

Replaced this hub nut on our old GE top loading washing machine at the same time as changing the gearbox and tank drum. The nut is fairly large, 1-11/16" and is also left-hand threaded. However, it came off relatively easily using a large 32-ounce ball-peen hammer and a SUPCO TB123A wrench, which I also purchased here at Revain This nut appears to be aluminum and is quite soft, so if for some reason you can't loosen it with a wrench, it can be easily split and removed with a cold chisel.

Pros
  • Lots of Goodies
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

If you decide your washing machine gearbox needs to be replaced it's best to order all the worn parts together with the gearbox . The hub nut tends to corrode over time and should be replaced at the overhaul. It was the right part for my washing machine. Make sure you have (or buy) the correct removal and replacement key; None of my "regular" wrenches would fit the nut and I had to wait for a new wrench to arrive to finish the job.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Three things to know about this tank nut for GE washers

This is the original General Electric tank nut for some of their top loading washers. Three things you MUST know: 1. To do this, you'll need a custom wrench - either the cheap one listed here or a much more expensive genuine GE part - and a decent hammer to swing it around. I would say 3 kilos. Engineer's hammer, 2 min. If you remove this nut during another repair, purchase a replacement. There's a good chance you'll break the original pan nut when removing it, and if it's a few years old you…

We need muscles! - Fasteners

Claims an original GE product. Fits very well on my Hotpoint washing machine. We ended up having to CUT the old hub nut off because it just wouldn't unscrew. Then I ordered these. Now we didn't buy a special tool to tighten it. Thinking we'd dressed enough, washed a few clothes and the mother broke loose, causing the washing machine to make a lot of unholy rumbles. So if you don't use a wrench and don't have a deep nut to pound, tighten it with a wrench and knock the ever loving crap out of the

Genuine GE Washer Hub Nut

I purchased this hub nut as a spare when replacing the mode selector assembly on my 7 year old GE Profile washing machine. This part was an original GE part in the original GE packaging. The cost was significantly lower than my local appliance parts store. Note that this nut has reverse threads. They loosen by turning clockwise and tighten by turning counterclockwise. If you are purchasing this item, I strongly recommend that you purchase the TB123A wrench: Washing Machine Wrench with Adapter -
