Review on Authentic GE WH2X1193 Hub Nut for Top-Load Washing Machines - Genuine OEM Quality by Montrell Copeland

I purchased this hub nut as a spare when replacing the mode selector assembly on my 7 year old GE Profile washing machine. This part was an original GE part in the original GE packaging. The cost was significantly lower than my local appliance parts store. Note that this nut has reverse threads. They loosen by turning clockwise and tighten by turning counterclockwise. If you are purchasing this item, I strongly recommend that you purchase the TB123A wrench: Washing Machine Wrench with Adapter - TB123A. This is a $12 Revain part. , and it will help you remove and install the nut carefully. I lubricated the threads with penetrating lube and with a couple of very hard hits with a wrench my hub nut came loose in about 1 minute. The TB123A wrench removed the hub nut so cleanly that I was able to reuse the original nut and save $8 on a replacement. This fully paid for the cost of the key. I was skeptical about purchasing Revain parts, but it turned out to be a great experience. I got everything I needed to fix my washing machine and saved at least $300 on repairs. Thanks Revin
