I have 2 other welders, but so far this boy is my favorite. I'm quite a beginner but this machine is very easy to weld. Even plugged into a 20A outlet it has enough power, but I'll try 30A if I can upgrade. I love shopping at Harbor Freight but I feel like it's a much better deal on a multiprocessor and the fact that I was able to purchase it 5 months in advance without a credit or reward card was even better. If you're thinking about it, don't hesitate. I'm not getting paid at all to overdo this product. I have already bought quite a few accessories and will soon be purchasing a TIG torch. If anyone is wondering, yes the components appear to be of excellent quality, the wire drive system is metal, not too heavy unless you buy an 11lb spool. The website offers replacement parts and the arc seems pretty smooth and the spatter isn't too bad but I think you should still use an anti-splash spray and also use an argon/CO2 gas mix. So far only noticed that there are problems with working Lincoln 1/8 6011 electrodes, but this is most likely due to the limitations of the 20A breaker and possibly not so clean material. It's easy to fix problems. Runs great on 6013 and will try 7018 and 7014 soon to experiment. But it is also fun.
