Review on 💻 2020 ASUS VivoBook 15 15.6-Inch FHD Laptop: Ryzen 3, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Backlit Keyboard, Windows 10 by Mark Toth

In general, the laptop works well. I got it as a graduation gift and plan to use it during my studies. However (and this is driving me crazy) the screen is constantly yellow. I've fiddled with the settings a few times and sometimes the screen looks fine as it should, but more often than not it has a yellow cast to it. This makes the screen itself very dark. If you're using a dark app (e.g. Spotify), when you switch back to a brighter screen, the screen will be darker than before. I know it can be brighter because when it's plugged in the screen is bright even if it's still yellow, but as soon as you turn it off it gets very dark even with the brightness set to maximum. Makes it almost impossible to use in bright light e.g. B. sitting outside or even in my room with the screen facing the window. It seems to be a computer problem because many other people on the internet are having the same problem and no one seems to have found a way to fix it permanently. Sometimes the computer just freezes. Not very often, but it just freezes and I have to force it off and hope it turns back on properly. Considering what happened to my last computer, I'm not very happy with camping at the moment. As someone with OCD, the screen drives me crazy and makes me scream. Definitely not worth the high price and now I'm stuck with it for at least four years or until it dies.
