Review on Enhance Engine Performance with Delphi AF10141 Mass Air Flow Sensor in Sleek Black Design by Ross Bagby

2011 Nissan engine light problem. Do I need this air mass meter?

Bargain. I was afraid of buying the wrong part I needed but it seems to fit me. SITUATION: The check engine light is on. Read the code (in autozone). The code was P0100. Disconnected the battery for 30 minutes and reconnected to reset the light. After 100 km the light came on. Cleaned the sensor several times with MAF cleaner. I did this cycle 4 times trying to collect the circumstances of the light triggering. Every time I drove 100-150 km, the light came on again. It usually occurred when the car was cold and warming up. After confirming that it was either a mass air flow sensor or an air temperature sensor (which is located on the mass air flow sensor on my/her 2011 Nissan Altima) I felt comfortable and decided to pull the trigger on a new one. I ordered it. and after 850 km the light didn't come on anymore. The part itself was NEW (I see no reason to buy a refurbished product from anyone). This Delphi block is made entirely of plastic, not aluminum like the block pictured above. The fit and finish is much better than the block I removed from the car and everything went smoothly as intended. Delphi seemed like a professional company with great reviews (and their nifty little video) and everything seems to be working for me. I wish you success. If you had the same problem as me. It could be your part.
