Bought this bag for my work laptop and documents. The bag is simply felt when taken out of the box. Waterproof fabric looks almost like denim. Heavy padding on the bottom and back protects contents. The padded laptop sleeve is perfect for my 15" laptop. It also has a second sleeve that holds my iPad. Highly recommended. This sleeve should last me a very long time. Edit: About two months after I received the sleeve, the Dissolving section of laptop bag. I contacted carhartt customer service directly. They provided a free replacement after I sent photos of the damage. Great customer service and they keep my business going.
