I was suffering from pain in my hands and wrists due to tendonitis and was anticipating a possible diagnosis of RA or similar so I was really hoping this device would help deal with it the disease. I get the place of the very expensive massage therapy at my physiotherapist appointment. Unfortunately, the first device I received would not turn on. The lights indicated when the device was charging, but every time I try to turn it on, the device only starts if I hold the power button the whole time and none of the other buttons (heat, intensity, mode time, etc.) ) do everything. When you release the power button, everything turns off. I asked for this defective unit to be replaced and the new one I received yesterday has the exact same problem. None of the buttons work and the machine doesn't do anything even after the light shows it's fully charged after plugging it in for several hours. A BIG waste of my time, money and energy. Not only has this not eliminated my hand pain, but unpacking and repackaging two units for a return has made my hands even WORSE. Still looking for a similar product that works as advertised.
