I didn't want the shoe rack to be too big and bulky as it is specifically used to store size 9 flats and flip flops; no sneakers, boots or high heels. This one is perfect because the shoe fits perfectly into sections that are still roomy enough to hold two pairs of flip flops if needed. Just open the packaging, hang the hooks and it opens beautifully. I know it sounds silly but my first thought was that it looks very thin and feminine but is definitely durable and functional.
