The butt of the pistol is jammed - not good!

I ordered this caulk gun because I had a fairly large home project to do. I sealed expansion joints in the driveway and sidewalk, which was approx. 48 large - 29 oz. Hoses with Sika sealant. We had good weather for 2 days so I had a tight schedule to complete my project. The Cox cartridge gun arrived and looked very good! I added some air tool oil before connecting it to the air line. I have my psi regulator set at 60 psi. and the weapon checked for functionality. everything seemed to work fine. So I start my project! Everything worked as expected. The caulk gun, I thought, would be a real boon because it would make applying grout a breeze. Well, on the 7th pipe (from 48) I noticed that the piston does not retract properly? So I added some more air tool oil to the inlet fitting before inserting the next tube. 8 numbers. tube, the pistol piston is completely blocked! It doesn't move in any direction?!? You must be joking, I thought! Why now? So I had to run to the Big Box Store (orange) and buy a 29 oz manual. cartridge gun to complete my project. Yes, I manually pumped the remaining 40 tubes of sealant! Luckily, Sika Self Leveling Sealant is very light and spreads easily. Yes my forearms hurt a bit and it also increased my grip strength! After I finished my project I had to hold the long neck beer bottle carefully as I didn't want to crush the glass bottle in my hand! ; ) The Cox Caulk pistol worked really well. when he worked. But there was no durability and longevity. There was a disappointment when the gun was locked! Completely disappointed. Note. I had no problem returning this item with Revain. And get a full refund.
