I didn't come with my legs apart, but I made it work.
As mentioned by other reviewers, it did NOT have splayed legs. I substituted an almost identical 1940's faucet and relied on my legs to reproduce the original setup. I ended up making a compatible 2x2 aluminum angle bracket with cinder block wall mount taps. I didn't skimp on the teflon tape and had to tighten the NPT fittings into the nipples fairly well, but there were no leaks in the end. Although I was able to install it, it looks good and works like a sink faucet, I gave it 2 stars because it didn't come with the parts listed and I had to spend more money and time to get it finished. Work.
