After using this card for a few months I started shooting videos with my Canon EOS R. All of a sudden, the camera reported a card error. I couldn't format the card. Later I tried to format the card with Windows 10 and the card was not recognized. I touched the card and it felt hot. Does the card seem to have some hardware error? Despite repeated attempts, neither my Windows laptop nor my camera recognizes or reformats the card. Sony support is very slow to respond and seems to indicate that their recovery software can fix the card. No device can recognize the card. I've worked with the tech long enough to know that there was a hardware failure with the card, but Sony isn't admitting it. From now on I will stick with SanDisk.
