Review on Phanteks Halos Digital 120Mm PH FF120DRGBA_AG01 by Todd Stone

This review applies to both 140mm and 120mm Phanteks Halos Lux Digital LED. There are no complaints about them. They fit any fan with white blades. I can only imagine they would look amazing on a translucent fan blade. I have used them with Phanteks PH-F140XP_BK 140mm (New Egg) and PH-F120XP_BK 1200 (New Egg & Revain). They have a 3-pin RGB connector (5V) with a daisy chain connection. I could easily connect 5 Halos Lux lights. The frame is aluminum (black) and looks great. The aluminum body gives them some weight and a premium feel. Each comes with 2 types of screws - one to attach directly to the fan and the other to attach to the heatsink. The case is actually quite impressive. They definitely don't look like trash; They are packaged to present the quality they are. Again, there was no problem with the garland that tied them together. I bought RGB cable extensions thinking I needed to connect them to MoBo in Fractal Define 7 XL, but I didn't. The extra length of each daisy chain gave enough length to return to the MoBo even when using the cable routing on the case. The Asus Aura had no problem connecting them to the software profile. Definitely recommend.
