I wanted to use this to create a Faraday cage effect and protect unmounted data drives from electrostatic discharge and electromagnetic pulses (EMP). My cell phone still received a signal in this case, so I do not recommend it for its intended use. Your desired usage and test results may differ from what I have experienced.
