I had reservations about installing this system. It's heavy and some people on YouTube have made it unwieldy. True, the installation is easy and the system is more intuitive than it seems. Make sure you're standing on level ground and work smart by connecting the trailer to a pin in the hitch so you can control the weight applied to the hitch. Align the truck and trailer with the weight removed and allow the ball to tip back towards the trailer. I highly recommend using a cordless impact wrench to tighten large clutch bolts. It also comes in handy when you attach an anti-roll ball to your trailer. The hooks simply snap onto the trailer frame and are held in place with screws that attach to the frame. When I was done (about an hour) I realized that this set is very similar to the one my dad used in the 70's. There are newer versions for a few hundred more, but why bother with something that's been going for 50 years? Trailer and truck behaved well even on a crowded freeway.
