Is that real Horween leather?

Beautiful leather watch strap. Without a doubt, it is genuine leather. But I have to wonder, is that really Horween skin? The packaging says Made in China! Someone buys real Horween leather in Chicago and ships it to China. Just so the Chinese cut it out, manage to ship it back to the States? (If you want to talk about the carbon footprint!) On a positive note, a nice leather strap! worth your money. I think it's Chinese leather. Another good strap.
