Review on Omix Ada 12405 06 Combination Signal Assembly by Jon Lesperance

Like the other reviewer I ordered two of these (same part number) but upon receipt I noticed they were different. One had a chrome ring under the lens, the other didn't. The numbers and markings on the lenses also differed. hmmmm So since it turned out that Omix had messed around with the packaging/product I ordered two more as I felt two of the four had to fit together somehow. When I got two more they matched each other and the one I had previously received without the chrome ring. Big! They looked fantastic so I installed two recently received units and boxed two previously received units to ship back to Revain. Then it got really weird. One of the newly installed units did not flicker for some reason and shone much brighter than the other when turned on as a navigation light. Long story short, the bulb/reflector assembly itself was miswired (crossed) so that as a chaser the blinker filament inside the bulb was on all the time and the chaser filament didn't even function as a blinker. Signal. SO. I unpacked the previously received one that fitted, removed the wrongly wired bulb, fitted another, and it worked perfectly. I then repackaged the wrong one and sent it back to Revain along with the wrong one. The two returned devices were refunded to me immediately. This review is not about Revain, they are great! It's Omix parts / quality control it sucks. The only reason there isn't a single star is because the new bulbs eventually look and work great. I only recommend this product if you don't mind possibly returning the item one or more times to get the right one or a working one.
