Product just received. Initial impressions: great packing, very dense foam (I’ve had mattresses that were thinner), sturdy materials, large wheels with smooth roller bearings (should be easy on office carpeting). After assembling (10 minutes total) found it extremely comfortable. Seat foam is stiff but PERFECT for 200+ lb persons. Physics of chair make it slightly unstable for 6’ or taller persons with 220+ lb weight when doing extreme leaning (may slip out from under you when twisting/stretching/leaning back too far). But these motions are outside the designed scope of the chair. Chair very stably handled a 240lb person who sat in it. No squeaking.I do wish the package contained some polyurethane washers. Seems like the chair could benefit from including a few. But this may be an intentional design omission. Will update during my first few weeks of use.Update: Sat in chair for an 8 hour stretch. Variety of positions used. Noted that shins did start to ache a bit from the hard foam. Seat foam is perfect thickness and firmness. I'm assuming that only using softer memory foam at the shins would feel better the first day, but reduce the longevity of the seat. Fingers crossed that the shin foam breaks in over the next few weeks. Pneumatic seat is definitely superior to the screw seat adjustment in the short term. I changed the height frequently during the day for comfort. And I mean frequently. Having to twist a screw to change seat height would be a royal pain. I also found that turning the seat around completely and putting it on a low setting creates an excellent stool for a 6' tall person.Second update: If you wear slippery pants (athletic) you will find yourself sliding down when the seat is at its highest extent. So note that friction is required! Also note that the highest extent puts the most pressure on the shins - for that reason i find myself using a middle setting or putting the chair high and sliding my knees into the lower padding instead of my shins. That may also be the solution to breaking in the foam.Third update: I have an electrical, adjustable height desk and I find that the chair is a better pair with this desk than a standard desk. I set the chair to its maximum height at the start of the day and cycle between: desk height 36" and chair at max height, desk height 31" and chair at low height, standing at desk (no chair).Fourth update: The rubber bushing that protects the air cylinder at its lowest setting has cracked and fallen to the floor. I think it broke the very first time I lowered the chair to its very lowest setting. I contacted the seller and they sent a replacement and asked for copious information about the incident and part. Great customer service and a fix is likely to be implemented!Fifth update (9 months): Still going strong! Seat fabric and foam still in good condition. Finding that I do my best work in this chair since the position is more active and open. Better posture. Better breathing. Foam has broken in and no longer makes shins ache. If you wear shorts a lot, I recommend you use a soft fabric to place over the knee portion. The cover fabric is a bit coarse and a softer covering will allow you to sit comfortably for a much longer period of time. I've successfully used the chair for 5 days straight without switching back to my standard chair. But its nice to alternate back and forth between this and a Workpro 1000 mesh chair - placing the kneeling chair under my desk when not in use.Sixth update - (1 year) Pneumatic system fails after about 1 year. Seems to be something plaguing this chair whether used or not. Pneumatics failed on my regular chair and I swapped it out for one that was in storage unused. That one had bad pneumatics as well (dreaded sinking seat). Seems like more than random coincidence. Removing a star.
