This is my fourth digital camera with Sony, another Kodak and Nikon - as you can see I went back to Kodak and found this. First, the camera isn't small enough to be pocket-sized, although it's not bulky at all and is actually lighter than you might think. The photos give the impression that this camera looks like a full DSLR in terms of weight and size. The Kodak-typical controls are very easy to understand and even if the brief instructions included are quite sparse, you don't need much to familiarize yourself with the camera. I found that on this Kodak the dial you use to select the shooting mode is a bit small. The Zoom/Zoom button also seems a bit small. So if you have big hands, I strongly recommend you take the camera to a store before you buy it. Those small reasons were the only reasons I didn't give the camera five stars. I posted some of my first photos and I am very satisfied! 10x optical zoom brings me closer; The lens captures a lot of detail and the colors look very realistic. I don't know when exactly, but when you first turn on the camera, it's ready to shoot in just a few seconds, and the cycle time between shots is fast enough for me. I had no problems with the lens. cap you It might not seem as durable as the camera, but then again, it's just a lens cap. I bought an additional memory card (SD) because the internal memory is only enough for 12 recordings in the 7.0 megabyte range. I'll update this again when I spend more time with the camera, but so far I'm very satisfied and would recommend it to anyone who wants a basic digital camera with a large zoom lens that I suspect takes crisp, clear pictures .
