Kodak Easyshare digital camera

The camera is excellent with everything I expect from a digital camera. German optics make the Kodak camera so good. My niece has a lovely Nikon, my pictures compete with hers. Big plans are great. It's sad to hear that Kodak is exiting the camera business.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • too stupid

great results for point and shoot digital cameras

I used this camera in auto mode most of the time and love how easy it is to use. Haven't tried enlarging photos yet so can't comment on the quality of the large prints, but the 4x6's are great. I LOVE zooming. I'm primarily a travel photographer and the zoom comes in very handy. and it's fast - you don't have to wait long for the car to repair itself perfectly. Great camera for beginners and professionals.

Very good camera on point and shoot digital cameras

I really like the camera and the features are amazing. I especially like the crop option and the clarity is still on point. The only downside is that I used an HP digital camera and am currently using the software with that camera to transfer images. The software that comes with this camera is good, but when I transferred photos from my camera to the software, they were not saved to my computer (only in this software with no option to move them to another location), and the photos were taken by

Great product - loves to eat regular AA batteries

Great camera with 10x optical zoom which works very well along with the extra digital zoom. Even at 7.1 MP, it does a great job with photos. To print photos, I simply remove the memory card from the camera and plug it directly into a computer or printer. A good size to hold - some cameras are very small making them difficult to hold and sometimes a finger can block the flash. Not with this camera. It features an automatic mode to take the guesswork out of shooting, as well as a manual setting…

My first digital camera - very happy

This is my first digital camera after using a single lens reflex (film) camera for the past 15 years. I am very happy with the Z710, photo quality, ease of use and range of features. Other reviewers have said it as best I could. I've tried some test photos, zooms, sports, etc. The photos came out sharp and clear even in fast traffic. Another highlight for me was the ability to use batteries, which the Z710 does. Thus, there is no dependency on expensive disposable batteries. I would have…

Great value for a digital zoom camera!

This is my fourth digital camera with Sony, another Kodak and Nikon - as you can see I went back to Kodak and found this. First, the camera isn't small enough to be pocket-sized, although it's not bulky at all and is actually lighter than you might think. The photos give the impression that this camera looks like a full DSLR in terms of weight and size. The Kodak-typical controls are very easy to understand and even if the brief instructions included are quite sparse, you don't need much to…
