I looked at the ratings and reviews of this shoe and took a chance and bought it. I have plantar fasciitis on my left foot and can't walk long distances without pain. I got a cortisone shot, tried New Balance shoes and insoles but still nothing seems to be working. I'm still in pain. Anyway, my family and I were on a trip that involved a lot of walking, and I worried that I wouldn't be able to do much. When I put on these shoes with insoles, I was surprised that my foot didn't hurt when I walked. I could walk long distances. In fact, my foot feels a lot better with it. I still have pain in my leg but not as much as usual. Really like this shoe and have bought two more pairs to change. I am impressed with this shoe and so glad I took the risk and bought it. $30 for shoes instead of the $130 I paid for a major brand that didn't reduce or relieve my pain. I agree! To be honest, I am very happy that I made this purchase. The only other comment I have is the area where you tie your shoes, sometimes I feel it's a bit tight even though I tie it loosely. It's tolerable, but just FYI.
