The back seat of my car is designed in such a way that there is no room to attach the front of the pet cover. As a result, in seconds, the dogs manage to fully open the underside of the seat, rendering the cover useless. When the roof is down and there are no dogs on the seat, the lid goes up like a parachute. I tried using Industrial Strength Velcro but it didn't stick well to the fabric backing of the car seat cover. So I decided to give it a try, not really expecting it to stand up to my dogs' antics. I figured the tape label was more of a marketing ploy (like this aspirin company selling the same product in different packs for different ailments). To my pleasant surprise, this tape works great. I let it dry for 24 hours before dog testing it. He withstood the stray dogs and the wind without even moving. My only complaint is that you get very little for the price. I used two packs to ensure I had an effective solution.
