Works very well for finished basement

*YEAR OF USE UPDATE BELOW* Bought this dehumidifier for a finished basement in the Northeast US. It's about 700 square feet of finished space, but everything is divided into multiple areas with a lot of air movement between floors, so I wanted a dehumidifier that could easily handle the harsh conditions. The packaging was fine when it arrived. I unpacked it, set it up and got started. No problem for 2 days until it fills up with water and I get an E5 sinking error which means the pump is bad. The goal in purchasing a larger and more expensive unit was to have a built in pump so I could run a 15+ foot drain line to the basement bathroom. I call support. The company that makes these humidifiers rented the Honeywell name, but they don't look like Honeywell themselves. The guy told me to send it back to Amazon for an exchange, which I did. I got the second one, set it up and everything works fine. If that changes in the near future I'll update this review, but overall this is a good dehumidifier that draws water out of the air in my basement. It's probably around 65-75 dBA with the fan and compressor running, but it's actually not bad. UPDATE I ended up breaking a pump fitting and emailed customer service. After giving them the parts information, unit serial number and proof of purchase, they sent me a new one free of charge. I've had it for over a year now and it has greatly improved the air quality in my basement. I was pleased with how good their customer service is. Upgrade to 5 stars
