Review on Boston Gear YJ48B Pitch 1 250 by Loren Jacobson
Good value for money
The gear is high quality so I have the pitch diameter and pressure angle I need. However, the rake was wider than my spec and I slightly edited it to size.
Pros
- 20 degree pressure angle for lower gear to gear contact ratio resulting in higher load carrying capacity than lower pressure angles
Cons
- There are other interesting options.
