I'm a big fan of my KZ ZS10 Pro and I saw this and thought "For less than $30 I would have them." don't try. Then I can wear my favorite headphones to the gym.β I tried not to be hopeful because KZ had issues with their Bluetooth offerings in the past and they were also very cheap. When I opened them up and tried them on, I was a little excited. They're pretty comfortable and don't look as silly as I expected. They look good with the silver ZS10 Pro in my opinion. I turned them on, put them in my Galaxy S20, and started a playlist I use to test new headphones. I was happy for 2 minutes then the problems started. In general, the sound is very good for a WLAN connection if it were reliable. The problem is that it isn't. Not sure if it's an interference issue or something like that, but every few minutes the right (and about a third of the time both) headphones go off for 2-20 seconds. It seems random and doesn't depend on external factors like location, whether I'm moving or distance from my phone. After some tinkering (ensuring my phone is up to date, checking that the headphone firmware is loading, clearing the cache and resetting everything) I set out to further assess the situation. I couldn't get through a single song without the headphones popping off a few times, which is quite annoying given that when they worked, they sounded so much better than any other Bluetooth headphones I've had. I assumed the problem was with my phone and not the AZ09, but after testing on my PC and my wife's iPhone, I'm afraid that's not the case. I might have gotten a lemon, but that's similar to the issues other people have had with other KZ Bluetooth products across the board. I'll keep experimenting and see if I can fix something, but I'm afraid this product, which would have been great, is not suitable for my use because of these connection issues. I will update this review if I have new ideas or information, but there are many small details that I will not mention in this review as without a solid connection things like noise floor and plastic type will occur. Usage doesn't matter. For KZ: If you can make a reliable Bluetooth version of this product (and since I'm making a wish list, Apt-X HD), I'll happily pay double for it. At this price point, a person can still have wireless ZS10 Pros for less than $100, and to be honest if they were sold as a bundle, I think it would be your best seller. This is the basis for a great product, possibly in the next iteration. Don't throw it away and don't worry too much about making it cheap. I'll wait.
