Just received the Shark Pool Basketball and so far so good. It actually inflates more than I expected. You need a pump to inflate it. I have a cheap inflatable toy pump that worked great. even if tomorrow my hands will hurt from pumping. An electrically driven low-pressure pump would make the work considerably easier. The basketball looks like a real one - the same rubber as I have for the court. It's a little smaller but about the same weight and feels "classy" like the original. I'll test it tonight and report. but so far it's better than expected. Update: After playing with it in the pool for a few days, it works great. It never rolled over, even in rough water. When the middle part is inflated, it seems like it is being sucked into the water. If you try to grab it and flip it over quickly on purpose, you'll have to stop sucking before it does so. It didn't happen during regular play.
