and this little stainless steel set fits the bill. My five year old daughter loves to cook with me but when it comes to playing with her own she has never had so much fun. So I had a feeling something more realistic would change that, and it did. She loved this little set and now when I cook she plays with hers. The little pots are really hard and strong, the spoons aren't, but they give the effect I was looking for. My daughter loves to cut her food in half with her little knife. It is so sweet. Not a single velcro has fallen off and has been for about a month. If you have a little chef who wants everything to be as real as possible, I recommend this little kitchen set.
