I've been looking for this type of stand and I'm surprised how well it worked for me. I first used it on my DSLR to shoot videos with kids, but then I started using it to set up vlogging with my Gopro and iPhone. At first I thought the phone stand was too weak so I thought about returning it but after changing the settings everything worked perfectly! I mount my Gopro, there is an iPhone holder on top and a light and microphone on the side. Despite all the attachments, I handled it with ease, and the stand held everything perfectly. This is a great stand and phone holder combo for the price. I still haven't used the extra screw mount but I'm glad I have the option.
