This silicone rubber is very easy to use, its ratio is 1:1 like most others. It has a fairly low viscosity so is very good at capturing the fine details of your positivity. On the other hand, the low viscosity also means your mold barrier needs to be nearly watertight, which can be difficult for a beginner just starting out in creating freeform molds. With the other silicone rubbers I've used, I've managed to avoid using plasticine and popsicle sticks for my mold barriers as they were a bit more viscous and didn't ooze out of the small cracks that might be present. This silicone rubber leaked from every tiny air gap in my vestigial mold barrier. I just let the bottom layer dry a bit and re-filled the mold and it came out great. Next time I will pay more attention to the waterproof performance when using this product. They take a little longer to cure than some lower viscosity gums, but once cured they are very flexible and strong. Haven't tried it yet but hopefully I got a lot more mold from this product than some of the others I've used. Will definitely buy again in the future
