We have been working with my friend's older cat for over a year and she has gone from being skinny, bony and a bit shabby looking to fluffy and healthy albeit not fat. However, this food is their favorite in all tastes. She clings to him like there's no tomorrow and eats almost an entire can at a time. It's not cheap, but there's something about it that will whet the appetite of a lethargic, fussy cat and keep them interested. I like small jars as she clearly prefers a freshly opened jar to food that has been chilled and delivered later. If she ever empties a can, I can always open one.
