Looks and smells like human food

This food tastes like chicken and tuna. The glass size is perfect for one serving. To be honest when I open a can of this food it looks and smells like canned chicken or tuna that I would eat myself! It appears to be very high quality with very few ingredients. I was a little surprised that sometimes my cat doesn't eat it as voraciously as other foods we've used, but she always ends up eating it.

Ash loves: Food

This recipe is great. It really feels like real food in broth. My cat loves it, maybe even too much. This is a quality food that your cat should love. The downside is that the jars are smaller than your cat is probably used to and the price is even higher than the Weruva brand. So you're paying more for less and need to figure out if the cost is worth the quality. In the long term we will resort to cheaper brands. Should our financial situation change, we will look at it again.

Pickiest cat I know eats her up

We have been working with my friend's older cat for over a year and she has gone from being skinny, bony and a bit shabby looking to fluffy and healthy albeit not fat. However, this food is their favorite in all tastes. She clings to him like there's no tomorrow and eats almost an entire can at a time. It's not cheap, but there's something about it that will whet the appetite of a lethargic, fussy cat and keep them interested. I like small jars as she clearly prefers a freshly opened jar to…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • There are downsides

The first thing people need to know about this cat food is that it's just meat and water to cook with - and NO fillers - no grains, no thickener, no vitamins, nothing. I love it and so do my kittens. I have a cat that has skin problems and lots of grains seem to bother his body. He's getting old and skinny. This food helps him maintain his weight more easily as he can easily eat it and not grains is better for his body. Because it doesn't have as much manure that many cats are used to, some may

Suitable for some cats

We have a pack of six cats, all of them spoiled little cats. Now they prefer pate, but we thought it would be worth trying the shredded pate to see if they would take it. Two of the herd would have eaten this food. The others sniffed and left. So one of the two cats that liked it had to run around and eat the leftover food. We took this food outside to feed a homeless man who walks around from time to time and this cat usually eats it. .I think the point is that not all cats will fall for it…

cat liked it and it looks like real food

I was surprised that this cat food is very similar to canned food for humans of the same species (chicken, tuna). My cat loved it and asks for more after eating the first glass. It also doesn't smell like cat food and each serving is for a cat's meal. I was happy with the simple, all-natural ingredient list, but did notice that it didn't contain any added taurine. However, the jar says that this is not everyday cat food, but rather a supplement or an occasional option. My cat would eat this…

Healthy Meat Meals

My older friend has megacolon so I try to feed him as close to an all meat diet as possible. Although I had never heard of the Almo Nature brand, the ingredients were impressive. Meat and enough water for cooking. It sounded perfect. Dante is also a somewhat picky boy. All the varieties in the range looked great. I have included photos of each of the 4 options. However, none of them had a particular smell. Dante really goes by smell. It seems he really likes smelly ones. The only thing I didn't
