The first thing people need to know about this cat food is that it's just meat and water to cook with - and NO fillers - no grains, no thickener, no vitamins, nothing. I love it and so do my kittens. I have a cat that has skin problems and lots of grains seem to bother his body. He's getting old and skinny. This food helps him maintain his weight more easily as he can easily eat it and not grains is better for his body. Because it doesn't have as much manure that many cats are used to, some may not like it. Especially if you let them decide what to eat. If your cat initially refuses this, I would mix it with other canned food or pellets. I assume that most will eat it willingly once they become accustomed to the new type of food. After all, you shouldn't feed them alone. This is a great addition to quality kibble or canned food, or as a treat if your kitty loves it. The product comes from Thailand. Proceeds reportedly go to an organization that protects cats, dogs and "biodiversity." The meat is believed to have come from meat previously intended for human consumption.
