My older friend has megacolon so I try to feed him as close to an all meat diet as possible. Although I had never heard of the Almo Nature brand, the ingredients were impressive. Meat and enough water for cooking. It sounded perfect. Dante is also a somewhat picky boy. All the varieties in the range looked great. I have included photos of each of the 4 options. However, none of them had a particular smell. Dante really goes by smell. It seems he really likes smelly ones. The only thing I didn't have to persuade him to eat was chicken and cheese. He wrinkled his nose in front of everyone else until I bribed him with freeze dried fish treats sprinkled on top. But once he started eating them, he liked them. Except for the tuna recipe. It was strange. Usually he likes tuna. He only took part of it so I gave it to other cats who liked it. This one is pretty expensive. I really like that it's only meat so I'll alternate it for the days when Mr. D gets constipated. Feeding your cat raw food can be a good option for you to have on hand for emergencies or convenience. I was really impressed with the quality of the food.
