Review on Benfei 4K DisplayPort to HDMI Cable - 🖥️ 6 Feet Gold-Plated Cord for Lenovo, Dell, HP, ASUS by Kantrel Tunstill

This cable is designed to connect two laptops to the same monitor (obviously at different times) via the HDMI and DP monitor inputs. For some reason HDMI to DP conversion doesn't work, but DP to HDMI conversion works. Tried both laptop HDMI out to DP in of different monitors with this cable but neither monitor recognized the DP signal coming to them. I have tried automatic detection as well as manual configuration of monitors. The DP input was never recognized. Strangely, the laptop's DP outputs worked well with the monitor's HDMI input. I expected the conversion to work both ways. Maybe I misunderstood his abilities. Luckily it was only $10.
