Don't know about you, but for me There's no better way to tell how good something is than to compare it directly to a competitor. I have been feeding my 9 month old German Shepherd Dog Wellness for about 3 months since I adopted her. During this time, she gradually began to scratch more and more, to the point of scratching almost everything on her body. Also, her feces were massive while eating this food. When I say massive, I mean she is a 55 pound dog and probably poops twice as much as a human in a day. One day I took her to the hairdresser to cut her nails and give her a bath and he noticed that she was itchy. and suggested trying a different food because he had seen it in other dogs that were allergic to the food. I was skeptical at first but then bought Taste of the Wild - Pacific Stream on the recommendation of a friend who used this food to get rid of his dog's allergies. A few days into starting the new feed there was a noticeable difference as she was much less itchy. Then I went outside to get their poop from the yard and noticed that they were several times smaller in size and volume than before! It's pretty clear. The new food was obviously more nutritious and could therefore be consumed in larger quantities with less waste. The new food was also 20% cheaper than Wellness and she seems to be enjoying it. Skip this overpriced junk food and look for alternatives.
