I only gave it 4 stars for one important reason. The device is difficult to understand at first how to use it. It took me almost 2 hours to figure out how to switch from 2.1 to 5.1 surround sound and it's difficult to set anything up without a remote control (which I've heard is very difficult to replace, if at all possible). The board is also very cheap. It's lightweight plastic and doesn't look like it will require much handling so I'll keep mine in a very safe place and guard it well. But once all the hassle was over and I finally got all the speakers working, the sound was amazing. I'm a picky person who hears high frequency noise. Crappy speakers really annoy me. But these speakers deliver clear, crisp sound. I'm excited! I can finally stream movies without straining to hear them like I do with TV speakers and computer speakers. Worth the price! No annoying squeaks or squeaks. I am very happy.
