It's not an intuitive design so love it or hate it in reviews. I'm only taking off a star because of the lack of instructions, otherwise great. once you understand how to use them. I recently broke the automatic needle threader on my sewing machine. I paid almost twice as much for a Dritz sewing machine needle threader that was underpowered and also stopped working. These guys have much stronger hooks and I bought five of them for less. Yes they are cheap but I think their utility exceeds expectations for the price. I will try to attach a video about hand sewing with needles. I couldn't find a video on sewing machine needles, but that's what the toggle is for. Simply line up the needle with the grooves on either side of the hook, pull the needle threader down the needle until the hook slides through the eye, place the thread on the hook and pull it through the needle. I no longer have to take the needle out of the machine to thread, which was a huge headache. Love it!
